The eABG 4820 combines the sustainability of a fully electric drive with the production capacity of a conventional paver. The machine itself produces zero emissions, and measured across the entire chain its CO2 emissions are around 70% lower than those of a comparable diesel machine. Ideal for urban projects, low-emission zones and sites where noise and emissions matter.
The Penta high-voltage system with a 270 kWh traction battery delivers 99 kW of power, enough to run a full working day. The eABG 4820 has already proven what it can do: it set a record for the most tonnes of asphalt laid in a single day by an electric paver.
Just like the diesel ABG 4820, the machine features robust tracks, four individual hydrostatic drives for the conveyors and augers, and the proven Variomatic screeds (VB 78, VB 79 and VB 88 ETC).
